Difference is night and day

What is interval?

You definitely need to get back out there. Seems it's been awhile since you visited SFGAm. Since 2 years ago, massive painting has taken place on the buildings and rides. Heck, Deja-Vu and Batman look like brand spankin new coasters now as well as Demon.

Eagle has seen a slow painting process from the whole station house being done to parts of the structure.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

cofan101, most multi-unit rides are designed so that the units (=trains) can be more-or-less evenly spaced on the ride in a process which results in minimizing the total length of time spent on the ride (from dispatch to reload for any given unit) and maximizing the number of people who can be put through the ride. When everything is working perfectly, the vehicles will be dispatched at a regular rate, and can be said to be running 'on interval'.

Think of it in terms of the ride operating on a fixed schedule. Of course, there are some rides out there where the schedule MUST be adhered to, or Bad Things™ happen; Magnum XL-200 comes immediately to mind, along with Adventure Express...
