Did us 'lucky ones' get bum copies of RCT2?

I'm beginning to wonder if our versions of RCT2 were meant to be released at all. I don't know about everybody else's, but mine doesn't have the faded blue cover that is now supposedly the latest box art and the CD, icon on the computer, or anything else doesn't seem to be official. Is anyone else feeling the same way as me?

Look at it this way, you have one of the few games with the original boxes. It could be worth some money...more than 30.00 some day. ;)

Well, my box art on my copy of RCT2 has a gold logo and normal colored artwork. I remember seeing a few different versions of the RCT2 box art and everytime someone found a new one it suddenly ebcome the official one. The only problem I am having with the game is the fact that it crashes if I try to test a giga coaster...other than that I am happy, official or not.

Wasn't the faded blue cover only for the strategy guide?

My RCT2 works fine on both computers, and I got mine early from a friend who works at a Target. The game I have is the same that is on shelves now. If I hadn't gotten it, it would have been put on display this week. It's the same deal with everyone else who got their copy early.
