Check out this great park!

I was there last week, didnt ride but while waiting for a friend to get off I was looking and they looked the same to me. So was this a joke or something to look forward too?

Not that it change the fact that you need to see a Dr when you get off this jerk machine but it would be nice not to have brused legs from the bars from hell.

I still think they are adding them. Last time I heard, they were only running 1 train. The 1 train was the 3rd one in storage that normally wasn't in operation. The other two that normally are used are still having work done on them.

Anyone else know anything?

ALL NEW COASTER SITE!

I went last Friday on pass night, rode SOB once after sunset. Could not tell any difference in the restraints, my wife and I have now added it to Vortex on the list of unrideables for us, this park so sorely needs new steel, but not necessarily a mega (and not a flyer!). But for me, just updates/redesigns of the current crop would be awesome:

Vortex: remove OSTR ala FoF.

Top Gun: redesign and add new track to allow trip into SoB structure, the trains have more than enough Schlitz to make the distance.

SoB: along with new trains, enclose the brake run before the loop and the helix that's after the loop, fix the one really rough part of the main helix that jolts the trains so badly (halfway down each pass).

Beast: (sacrilidge, you say!), redesign the area that begins with the right hand into the long shed and ends with the right hand into the tunnel, it kills the pacing of the ride, and with that end the need for the brake on the 2nd hill. Just continue the hills up and down through the trees until time to go underground.

Adventure Express: return the mist! and the station announcements recording.

FoF: get rid of the seatbelts (not the lapbars), and ease the braking into the unload (no sudden stops ala SoB).

I was there in '72 when it opened, over the years rode the Bettle, Screamin' Demon, the Bat, the chairlift, the dolphin show, saw the live actors on the train ride, paddled the canoes, and rode the Safari. I want the best for this park and would love any/all of these things to happen, one can wish, right?

As of now, Son of Beast has two train operation, but still no new restraints.

Intelligence is a God given gift: Know how to use it.
There's one small hill on SOB that I wish they would lower. It would be a perfect air-time hill except for the fact that the hill is too tall, so you're not going fast enough to get any air on it.
