Did Raging Bull hit that bird??
My friend that worked in the park last year, (SFGA) always tells me still that last year, when Raging Bull was going down the first drop , A bird got stuck underneath the wheels and it was stuck half way down. After that, it was loose and it slowly rolled to the tunnel and was stuck there, it took 3 days to get it all out. Now, he lies alot, does anyone else know about this? And in the V2 tonight I thought about something. Can the ride get stuck on the second tower going vertical? cause the brakes ? I do think it can, Shockwave has, The Eagle, and last week V2 was stuck at the last time coming back at the start of the brakes, but I think it was done on purpose cause someone had their hands on in the station, security was there, and the riders got to ride again. A normal problem, no one rides til they test it again. SO, does anyone know about the Raging Bull thing, and anyone know, has SUE gotten stuck there? I wonder if V2 can, and I really cant believe the Raging Bull thing, I know everything about that park.

I don't remember hearing anything about the bird incident on Raging Bull, but I can't say that it's 100% false.
I also don't think V2 could get stuck on the second tower, but again I could be wrong.
Also, what do you mean when you say that Shcokwave has gotten stuck like you think V2 could? I don't quite understand.

It is funny isnt it? hes a liar. What I meant about Shockwave is you know after the loops? the Brakes before the pretzel? its gotten stuck there many of times. Im just saying, brakes can you know, stop it. Like the barrel on the Eagle, and today its back to same ol same ol, the blue train to A complete stop, reds better anyway. And that smell in the park is getting worse! I almost threw up after the Raging Bull, it moved from the waters of V2, to the other end! It always smells like a sewer..lol
I think that they stop Shocwave on purpose on the brake run, only if there is a timing problem with other trains or a problem loading or unloading.
Hmm, I haven't noticed that strong of a smell when I've been there this year, but I'll keep my nose ready for one. :)

If a bird did get hit by RB on the hill, don't you think RB would be going fast enough that the bird would be nothing more than a few tiny chunks and some splattered stuff? Maybe this particular bird was made of the same stuff Superman (not Superman: The Ultimate Escape Knight Flight with Batman: The Ride coaster, but the accual Superman, comic character) so it's indestructible unless there is kryptonite nearby.
And I'm sure somehow V2 could get stuck on the brakes, I mean, the brakes are run by software, are they not? Therefore a bug could cause them to hold for longer than wanted.

I'm going to say that the RB incident didn't happen because if it did it would be all over the news and we would all remeber it for it being so funny. what's with birds and B&M hypers anyway? hey, you guys riding Nitro: WATCH OUT!
as for v2 yeah, I suppose it could get stuck. but to fix it would be simple: turn off the magnets and make sure the brakes were lowered so that the train doesn't go up the twisted spike. then just bring the train back to the station with the magnets along the bottom, test the ride, and re-open it.

This has nothing to do with this post. When I was a Cedar Point during Coaster Mania 2001, I was riding the train next to MF and as we past a train came into the brake run and a guy in the front left seat had a bird in his hand!
The V2, S:UE brakes could not hold the train. They're LIM's and they're controlled by software, but they draw 5000+ amps when they fire (according to the discover channel special).
And that's just for the 10th of a second that they fire.

Do mean the bird actually stopped the train? A little bitty bird at that steep angle? If a train hit a bird, I think that bird would become a million little pieces of the ground beneath RB. I don't think it could stop a train.
