Did Premier rides make the first move?

By saying this, I mean did Premier start approaching the parks that it installed coasters in and offer to retrofit its rides to lapbars? Or are the parks on an individual basis approaching Premier to have their coasters changed to lapbars. Just curious.

I'm curious about that as well. When it was just the Paramount rides, I figured, cool, they know they have a problem and are doing something about it. Since Premier did the Son of Beast trains, I figured that's what they were looking for.

Then we had the chiller retro-fit, and I decided maybe that wasn't the case. I doubt very much that Premier is paying for it, though. They're not big enough to have that kind of cash lying around.

The good news is we have excellent new rides where migrane-makers once stood!

It's up the individual parks if they wanna pay for it. They basically have no need to pay for it unless they are getting MASSIVE complaints about a ride being too rough.
Well, at the Discovery Channel Shoot for Batwing yesterday, I asked Karin, the PR person, if we would see lapbars on Joker's Jinx next year.
She said "Yes, that's the rumor going around." I wouldn't call that a 100% confirmation by any means, but, it does provide some hope. By the way, I think Premier will have plenty of money after building that Las Vegas oversized ferris wheel:)
