Diamond Falls At PKD

I know last year this ride was closed and a fence was put up. I was wondering if anyone had any info on what was going on?

Nothing new. Still dry, still boarded up, and all ride remains are removed. I hope we'll see a new ride, but the location is odd and I doubt we'll see anything big soon. I'm hoping for Delirium from PKI IMHO.

Last year they said they'd add something there in 04...I guess those plans were sidetracked when the scooby doo dark ride came along instead.

Hopefully we'll see something new on that site soon,a delerium clone would be a nice addition to the congo section...I hope they don't just let that area sit boarded up for years on end like SFA has done with what remains of their old enterprise attraction.

I would like to see a ride like Tomb Raider at PKI. I really liked that ride and it's the only one I have ever been on like that. Also Delirium would be cool.

I just hope that whatever ride they put in there will not require them to take out any trees. That park just can't seem to put in a ride without knocking out a bunch of trees.

That's true Barry....just look what they did to Grizzly's backside when HS:XLC was put in.

I know and that ride is just not the same anymore. If you look at a picture from the tower back in the 80's you can barely see the ride. That ride used to be so awesome at night 'cause once you were over that lift hill it was pitch black dark. But that is no more cause all of the trees are gone and the ride experience is just not the same anymore.
