A California developer will pay the legal fees for Anaheim, which has been sued by Disney over the developer's plans to build hundreds of low-income housing units near the amusement park's front gates. The proposal was defeated in a 2-2 vote, but Disney filed suit claiming that the proposed housing project by developer SunCal, which wants to build 1,500 condominiums -- including about 225 low-income units -- in the resort area surrounding Disneyland, was not subjected to environmental studies before it went to council.
