Carolina Crossroads still owns the Zippin Pippin, Elvis Presley's favorite roller coaster, but the developers of a new amusement park in Memphis would like to get it back. Carolina Crossroads Developer Michael Dunlow said he is open to talks of leaving it in Memphis, and Robert Barnard, owner of the new amusement park, said his group would be willing to buy the coaster if given a long-term lease for the park. The new park would replace Libertyland and be named Joyland.

Joyland and Libertyland have suffered long, Borderline careers as barely scraping by parks. The Crossroads at least has a sucessfull venue to work with (COncerts)
My view at The Fairgrouns this coaster is only subject to the same history its had and suject to more council or fair board decisions down the road.
Chuck, who don't wish the Joyland owners harm but sees no future in a park nobody wanted. (Everything except Pippin is gone and for 5 million your gonna have a carnival to start with)
