Developer drops out of Myrtle Beach Pavilion project

The developer scrutinized over his finances and credentials withdrew Tuesday from the project to redevelop The Myrtle Beach Pavilion Amusement Park. Barry Landreth, president and chief executive of Webster Realty Investors, did not submit the financial statements, tax returns and other requested information by Tuesday morning's deadline.

Sounds like possibly good news for the park... but maybe i'm wrong.

At least for now. Let's hope they just give it up and leave the Pavillion as it is, at least for a while longer.
