Details of Gurnee board meeting for Six Flags Great America zoning variance

The Chicago Tribune has the story of what went down at the village board meeting on Wednesday. There was some opposition from Gurnee residents who live next to the park, which intends to build a 178-foot tall "Invertigo" ride. This would be larger than the similar rides at Six Flags America and Paramount's Great America.

one thing that i would like to focus on is the detials of the second coaster. what type will it be?? and will we see a B&M floorless i sure hope so. Previously we had heard rumors about a floorless going into yucon territory. Another question i have is about the cajon clifhanger will it ever opporate again or should we expect it to be gone next season. the last 5 times i have been to GA it has been closed so if anyone has any info on that one please let me know.

CP rules GA is alright SFO blows
The Cajun Cliffhanger (correct spelling) will be back, it probably won't be back for Fright Fest (due to lack of workers), but you can bet it will be operating next season. This ride usually runs from 12-8 during summer, so if you want to go on it check the hours it runs.
The Cajun Cliffhanger is closed right now because of an accident a couple months ago. They are supposedly investigating the ride for safety and to see how the 2 girls feet got crushed.
