Desperado: The bra buster

Last monday we rode Desparado, our first coaster after getting married, and Angelas' first hyper, and the funniest thing I have ever seen happened. As anyone who has ridden this coaster knows, all of the transitions are very jerky and rough. Well, when we hit the bottom of the first drop and started up the second hill the abrupt jerk snapped one of Angelas' bra straps. We were dying laughing when we got off the ride. We thought the ride was good, it would have been great if a little smoother, but she only rode once because at 6 dollars a ticket plus 20 dollars a bra, the cost was a little pricey! ;)

Just a couple of G-force junkies!
I always knew that coaster was perverted.  ;)

Desperado rides like a true bucking bronco. Every time that we hit a transistion it felt like it was trying to throw me off the train. Ive got a bruise from it.
Yeeee haaaaaaaa

elevated track in the sky is the only way to fly.

I loved Despy!  The high camelbacks ruled, each one threw me high outta my seat.  The drop was great, and the first turn *owned*.  Not a bad coaster at all.  Hey, I even liked it a lil' better than Magnum, and I like Magnum.

Nitro, Legend, and IOA. Is there anything better?

I decided to take one of my rides in what is known as the ejector seat. If you ride Magnum, and want to get the most air, you ride in 1-3 (third seat, first car). So I usally ride Magnum in 1-3. Well, I figured to do it on Desperado....

Well, that is the most violent coaster ride I ever took. I thought it was great, but had a bruise the size of a baseball.

For $26, I rode it 19 times.

the 1-3 seat is what i rode no wonder it was so rough. is the 1-3 the roughest seat. because of its location its called the ejector seat? i like that.

I only rode in 1-3 once..and that was enough. I usally rode in 5-2 (last car, middle seat) since it was off the wheels, a little smoother, and I like the back of Arrows. That was pretty fly, but I had to duck once when somebodys coins got ejected out of their pocket and slammed into people sitting in the back of the train! YIKES!
