Delrium going too high

Today at PKI, (I will post a TR later), when I was in line for the Racer, a ride op looked over at it and said "It looks like Delirium went too high again". I didn't know what it meant, but Delrium was down for another 4 hours or so, and they just kept running it with not one one it. I don't know what the real problem was, and if it really did go *too* high. I couldn't really tell. Maybe somebody else knows more about this situation?

He's just joking. I am pretty sure Delirium has some sort of safety feature that stops it from swinging past 2 O'Clock. There was some problem with the rotating floor. They wouldn't let you on if it wasn't safe.

I was there yesterday also. I'm about 75% sure it had to deal with the floor. Because about an hour after the ride opened back up, they started to do a test run every other time they swung it with people on it.

-I'd also like to note that Delirium is the best ride at PKI...and i'm not kidding.

Vortex at Thorpe Park (KMG Afterburner/Chance Revolution) has problems with it's floor too. The ride is very reliable, but the floor isn't.

One of the Paramount Parks has a Chace Revolution too, doesn't it? Does it have similar problems with the floor?

It's funny that something as 'simple' as a dropping floor (even on Delirium) can break down so much!

Actually, most of the trouble they're having on Delirium has nothing to do with the floor. Watching the thing in action during testing yesterday's extended outage, I'd say it looks like they're having trouble with the thing coming home at the end of a cycle. The problem isn't at the 2:00, it's at the 6:00 position...or rather, the ride's apparent inability to find the 6:00 position.

I noticed that too. It kind of swung slowly back and forth and then stopped at an angle to the floor.
