Delirium is here.

FYI, PKI started Verticle Construction Friday the 24th.

Not much to see but a crane raised in the area and some of the parts/supports missing from the parking lot.

Nice! We stopped by PKI on our way to the Golden Lamb Inn last weekend after the NCC and I had to snap a few pics of whatever stuff was lying around.

First time I have seen the park covered in snow. Wierd. In any event I really look forward to Delirium!!

Actually Chuck they started vertical construction on the 21st. The crane has been up inside the park all week and the stuff started going in Tuesday. Friday they just extended the crane around 1 when I stopped by. I look up and the crane was there, I turn to look at the crane working on the front of Scooby, turn back around and the Delirium crane was down. It later came back up and was taller. I guess that all depends on what you consider vertical construction. The building that the quene will enter right before getting on the ride has been vertical for a few weeks now.

As for the ride itself going vertical, it shouldn't be too long before it is finished. That ride should be going up rather quickly.

I'm surprised that PKI would go with a floor like that. On Psyclone at PCW, the entire floor just drops straight down. This means that you can leave your loose articles right on the platform.

That's exactly what PKI wanted. They wanted a very simple 'up-down' floor but HUSS convinced them otherwise.

PKI posted new pictures from today on their website. It shows the crews positioning the legs and the motor from many different angles in the park.

Delirium is going to be one amazing ride. I can't wait until April! :)
