I saw in the trip report for BeastBuzz that it was down, was planning a trip for Sat the 18th, and was wondering if it was down for a while or short term? Thanks (and please forgive me if this has been discussed already, I didn't find it anywhere)
I am hearing rumblings that the ride may not be back up for sometime. Apparently it had a major malfunction.
From what I hear, I would not count on it being operating during your visit.

From what I have heard they were taking the thing apart for a motor, or something to that nature. Sounded pretty serious, so I don't know maybe a week or two. Not sure. Hope this helps, though I doubt it does.

They're waiting on a new gear from Huss. From what said at BeastBuzz, it looks like it won't be open before July 1st.
OK PKI is paving a pathway to bring in heavy equimpment so its pretty bad and my guess is that it wont be up until early august.
