Delerium down at PKI

OK I was at Kings Island Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and Delerium was closed all three days. The sign at the entrance apoligized and said they were waiting on a replacement part from Germany (Huss).

I know its not the most amazing ride there but a lot of people ride it and just thought I would let you all know. No indications of when it might be operational again, one info booth lady said she heard the part had come in at the end of the week but couldnt confirm that, or how long it would take to FIX even if the part WAS there.

Yeah, Its been down (and discussed) for a few weeks. There are at least one other thread about it.

Sad to see it down. It's the best ride in the park, next to my Intamin. ;-)

I was a bit disappointed last week when I went there and saw that it was closed. After visiting twice since it has been there I still have yet to ride it. It is a slight consolation that I have ridden maXair, but I wanted to ride it in the reverse direction. :) Oh well, maybe next time.

It's still me, here from the beginning back in 1999. Add 1500+ posts to the number I have in the info section if you care about such things.
^ Probably not, my friend. Both MaXair and Delerium spin the exact same way. Counter clockwise. :)
I thought I remember someone saying that they spun in opposite directions...my bad.

Originally the park (CP) had it saying maXair spun clockwise. They were, in fact, mistaken.

Like Homely G. said, they both spin the same direction.

OMG I have a new sig!!!
They weren't mistaken; they were looking at it from the wrong end of the pendulum. :)
