One of the biggest surprises at Comic-Con thus far came on Thursday during the Disney panel, when Guillermo del Toro came out and announced that he would be writing, producing and maybe directing a remake of "The Haunted Mansion." Del Toro joked that they weren't returning Eddie Murphy's calls for this, referencing Murphy's 2003 comedy.

I bought it after it came out, but I've only managed to sit thru it once. It's great, but very sad.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

I absolutely love Big Fish. It's such a great movie.

Not only is the story wonderful, the cast is fantastic.

"Me too!"

I was going to say exactly what Moosh just said, in different words.

I've liked everything Burton has ever done, except for Alice. I even like Planet of the Apes. But then again, "everybody's different".

[url][url]I should have been more exact I was referring to the live action. but if you remove pixar there other movies have under performed also.

I haved alice though was happy to see a visual presentation of the Bandersnatch. Chocolate factory was OK but like all of Burtens recent movies favored visual effects over story. Alace wouldn;t have made near as much is if wasn;t in 3D and released in Imax. easy to make a lot of money wen people are spending 14-20 dollars a ticket. Though i will admit I'm looting forward to Frankenweenie. and

I'm sure Disney will do well with Tron 2. it just seems that lately disney put out one good movie then a half dozen of more terrible ones.

but the fact that disney let the first Haunted Mansion movie get made int eh first place is a testimate of their desire to sell name over experience when ti comes to movies.

You can spell experience and presentation correctly but not "w(h)en" and "al(i)ce"? LOL
