Deja Vu Surprise at SFGAm!

Wherever  I was in the park, I could see Deja Vu. I also noticed people working on it. I finnaly made my way to Deja Vu.

I went to SFGAm on September 1st. I noticed the Deja Vu train on the track. When I got in For a closer look, there was 1 row of the train on the track. That was odd to me, only having 1 row of the train. A worker was fixing the wheels of that row. I believe this ride will be open by Fright Fest due to all the maintaince work on it. Read my trip report.

V2 can't be compared to any of the rides in SFGAm!The Vertical Drop was amazing!

I was just going to start a topic on this, but i didnt know if anyone would believe me, the first V row is on track, and i saw people working there every time i passed. It was quite a surprise to see those yellow and green trains sitting there after being so used to seeing nothing in the station.

Finnaly, someone responded to my topic. I thought I would have had more responses by now. I thought a lot of people were curious about Deja Vu in SFGAm.

I was there on Sunday and they had 2 rows of cars on the track at about 1:30pm.  By the time we got back in that area again around 7pm I noticed that there were 4 rows of cars and that they were pushed a lot further back.  I think we can expect testing to begin sometime this week.   I now regret not taking my camera.

Welcome to Deja Vu...home of the world wide wait.
I did take my camera, it's a shame that i dont have a scanner, but if you want a copy of a picture(duplicate/color) just send an instant message my way, and i'll arrange somthing.

Iron Wolf: Can you stand it?

I don't think it would be a great financial move for the park to open it. All that work for 4-5 weeks of operation with 95% of the crowd being season pass locals

Mongoose,

I agree with you sort of.  But then again they could be sued for false advertisement if they dont try to open it before this season is over.  We still have until October 31.  Even if it is just a soft opening I think that would be a smart thing to do.  Hopefully with cars being put onto the tracks finally...MAYBE we can get the thing testing soon.  And then we can hope for  a soft opening for the rest of the season.

Yes, I want my Deja Vu and eat it too!

does anybody else think the seats on deja vu are a little weird? the first row are next to each other but the second row is seperated. can somebody explane this?
Actually, I believe the last day of the season is the 28th, somebody correct me if I'm wrong:)

When I was by Demon at around 2pm they only had one row. But due to its V shaped train, you may have thought it was 2 rows. I rode Demon at around 7:30 and they didn't have 4 rows on the track on Deja Vu!

Finally! It's about time. I hope it opens in before 2002, but I don't think it will.
My friend was there on 9/2 and he said that the trains were there and I was just going crazy and are the other sections of the train on site!

Ready to launch!... Bzzzzzzzz...
Finally, This ride should open in a few weeks then if everything goes right from here on.

If anyone happens to go to SFGAm this weekend PLEASE take photos of Deja Vu and post them on the internet.  If you have a non-digital camera ask the developer to put it on disk (either floppy or cd rom).  Both Wolf Camera (my personal favorite but expensive) or Jewel/Osco will do this.  Wolf Camera can do it in the same day.  Jewel/Osco has to send it out for developing if you want disk or cd rom.  Also PLEASE update us buzzers on the current status, ie: testing, more cars on the track, soft opening (I can hope cant I?).   Thanks in advance.
