I like it. Finally a four seater with an unobstructive view. Wow, I can't wait to ride it.

Sure, it's got an unobstructed view...

But let's say you're at the park with your girlfriend and another couple. Everybody decides to go ride Deja Vu and gets in line. After the (probably lengthy) wait, you step up and look at the train. Then, you realize...

If you want to have both couples sit next to each other, they're going to be separated by that offset. If you decide that you and your girlfriend are going to sit in the front seats, then you find that your friends are not only separated by the two middle seats, but they can't see each other either!

Since the vast majority of people who go to parks go with at least one other person, I think that design is pretty atrocious.

Never thought of that. Good point. However IMO, if you need to cuddle up next to someone just to feel secure, there's still a log flume. I don't really need to sit next to anyone in particular to enjoy myself on a 90 second ride, but I can see how others might. I don't get it. How can there be no obstruction? In the second car or farther back cars, it will still suck in the middle! In fact, I think it might be worse, you will look forward. See two seats. Look left or right, barely see anything except a lot of seat. Well, I'm always on the edge, so I guess it doesn't effect me! Good thing I'm thin and can squeeze through the people I go with so I can get in front of them :-P

I love those trains. Too bad I won't be able to ride SFMM's until summer since they're moving so damn slow.

They are moving slow aren't they? I think they're using the SFOG crew, so they have to wait for them to finish ;)

Those trains are awesome! I just wish they were Face/Off trains...that would be so cool...just the thought of seeing the sheer terror on someone's face directly across from you...oh well I'll still enjoy the rolling stock at Great America!

Well, the 2 people that are set back will still be able to see eachother. So, if you got a partner, just have them take one side, you take the other. It does sound simple. But I am sure that thiss will slow down the lines.

Those trains are awesome! Very unique. They should be really cool.

Why don't they just make 4-across seating??? Basically, that is just what these trains are, except the 2 outside seats are behind the middle seats. It just seems that for purposes of capacity and efficiency, it would make more sense to make them 4-across!

Coasters...the best natural buzz available.

Because this is the first train of a who new generation trains of Vekoma. If my rumours are correct Cedar Point will receive a custom build sitdown coaster from Vekoma, with a LSM-installation. This coaster will get the new generation train of Vekoma. Furthermore Cedarpoint will get a wooden coaster from Vekoma.

Woodie? Cedar Point? VEKOMA? I don't know, that is a stretch. I know Vekoma makes woodies, but I don't know. Let's wait and see. Well, at least the trains aren't the god forsaken two across SLC trains. We can be ahppy about that!

Coasters- a little slice of heaven

Does anyone think we might see these on SLCs in the future. Maybe thats why they are in a V shape so SLCs can be modified w/ them. I think these are awesome looking. And would look great on Serial Thriller @ SFWoA. If it was possible to put them on it.

Also do you think Vekoma will start putting 4-across on all their new rides now? FD, LIM coasters, and now Super-invertigos have them.
