Deja Vu platform pictures!

For those of you who haven't seen the platform at SFGAm yet, here is the link:

I have a thought of why Deja Vu is still not running. I think they are treating Deja Vu as a brand new ride again. They are probably getting the certain number of hours of testing for a brand new roller coaster on Deja Vu. They have had successful test runs so far and that is the only reson why I think it is not open. This is just my opinion so don't get mad.

V2 can't be compared to any of the rides in SFGAm!The Vertical Drop was amazing!

Well, at least they built a way to get down from the platform! On the 19th it was just a wooden platform with no way to get down from it.. lol. That would have been interesting.

lol...that's kind of funny. They might as well put a sign up saying, "You may get stuck on this ride, more so than others, so we have installed a brand new escape platform!"

LoCoSuMo! originated by Mamoosh.

That platform dosent even match the ride why dident just install one made of green or blue steel to match the ride? thats like imagineing the robin side of the chiller at SFGAdv with a wooden platform instead of a red one made of steel. Maybe the wood was cheaper? or holds up better?
Or cheaper to build so that when they finally get it working right they can remove it and not waste any more money than neccesary..

Posting, "Me too" like some brain dead AOLer. I ought to to the world a favor, and cap you like old yeller...

Wow that is damn ugly. Don't the other two have steel catwalks in that same area painted blue (to match the rest of the ride). It wouldn't be a problem if this DV was a wooden one...;)

there's the magic mountain one, it actually curves along with the track :)

That's not the same thing.

SFGAm's wooden platform is between the loop and the boomerang. That SFMM picture is of the catwalk between the loop and lift two (which is also present on the SFGAm ride).

Maybe they'll paint the wood blue. The ride will need to be closed a few more days for that, no doubt.
I know i should not say this, but DAMN, that ruined the entire "state of the art" look to the ride.

You are the passengers on a most uncommon elevator, about to ascend into your very own episode of the Twilight Zone

Yeah, and the one at MM has vallied between Tower 2 and the vertical loop with guests on it.
Why don't they just put drive wheels on every inch of the track. Sure, the whole ride might suck at 5mph, but it won't roll back every 5 minutes! :)

I don't think it looks THAT bad. As I said, throw some paint on some thing. It'll be a nice foot-chopper.
I expect a coat of Blue & Green Paint on that platform becuase it isn't going anywhere.

....why bother painting a platform on a ride with such a short life-expectancy......;)
