Deja Vu is quite FRIGHTENING

Recently I went to SFMM and has my first ride on Deja Vu. I wasnt all that excited about the ride, as many people see it as just another big boomerang. How untrue this turned out to be. First off is the strange seat configuration.(NOTE: this may be changed as the boarding process was awkward because of seat placement.) You have two choices of seating. The center 2 seats are close togeth, but the 2 end seats are off center and alone on each side. Chosse the outside seats for full effect. You are COMPLETELY alone on the outside with very little around you. As you are pulled back up the firsat spike you begin to lean forward. It continues to get steeper and eventually you must surrender to NEWTON. Your body falls forward as dead weight aginst the shoulder harness. This is where the fright kicks in. Should this OTSR open and the seat belt break, its a straight down plummet to the earth below. You continue to go UP. In an instant you are plummeting toward the ground, the very thing you feared moments ago. The ride through the boomerang course really is just another boomerang, but once you return to the station you DO NOT stop. you go right back up the first spike, face down to the ground again and come to an abrupt stop afcing straight down. Your body falls agint the restarints as you pray it doesnt open. The train is very SLOWLY brought back down to the station. Your thoughts are "get me down, get me down, get me down". I rode it three more times. : ) NOTE: an outside seat near the back is better than the front seat.

I'll get my first DejaVu on Sunday 9/16 at the wake for Viper at SFoG...I'm not quite sure if I rode it before, it seems eerily "familiar" lol  :~).  Also I love the sig: My other car... mine would definitely be an Intamin with stadium seats...

I Lve getting that kinda fear on a coaster, That sounds awesome
I like that kind of fear, too. I wish one would go to SFA next year, because I'm planning on going to Maryland sometime next year, but they already have a boomerang. So maybe Carowinds should get one sometime in the future.

LNM, one won't go to SFA because they have Invertigo. A standerd invertigo. Too much alike. It sure sounds like an awesome experience. I hope I make it out the the Mountain within a year.
NitroExplodes, I remembered that 1 second after my post, so I edited it. Sorry about that.
