Deja Vu compared to V2

Wednesday, June 6, 2001 4:12 PM
I know that similar topics have come up but I think V2 will be better than Deja Vu. The reasons why I think V2 will be better is:
1. Boomerangs get rough over time
2. V2 goes faster
3. You go up faster on the vertical tower on V2. This adds a lot of excitement.
4. V2's twisting spike is an element not used on other coasters besides S:UE.
5. Boomerangs and loops are very common on other rides.
What are your opinions for which ride is better and WHY?

Well I am hoping to be able to see for myself and go to SFGAm this fall. However, I'm really not sure which will be better. A lot of people really love the stop on the vertical spike on V2/S:UE but remember that Deja Vu will slowly climb backwards for a long time up a 196 foot vertical tower, so you will definitly be hanging against your restraint there. I like LIMs but then again I like Loops. I guess the only way to tell will be to ride both. I don't think there will be a clear cut winner, but each person will have their own preference.

Don't get me wrong, I like loops also. The only part of Deja Vu I'm looking Forward to is the climb up the lift hill/vertical tower(face forward). I really want to fall to my restraint. That's why I like V2 so much. Other than the lift hill on Deja Vu, the ride doesn't look that exciting.

Why not save this conversation for some time after a Deja Vu opens?
