Deja Vu broken at SFAGAm

So Six Flags sent Vekoma into bankruptcy over the GIB's and sent Arrow into bankruptcy over X... how long will it be until there are no coaster builders willing to work on a prototype at a SF park?

*edit: fix typo*

Until all the other parks realize B&M's prototype this year was a success at SFOG.

My two favorite coasters are named Superman.

I was told that the ride is closed beacuse they are re-aligning the train for a smoother ride.

Also the grease used for lubrication gets too thick when the outside temperature is below 50 degrees.

Until all the other parks realize B&M's prototype this year was a success at SFOG.

But didn't the true prototype of the B&M flying coaster open in England? Meseems to think that there was a pregnant enoughpause between that opening and the SFOG opening that anything determined off-key in England would then be fixed in SFOG (before the coaster was to open or was due to open). Was someone being safe?

How much did this DV cost? I mean you could fit a decent coaster in there like a small Intimin or a B&M flyer. I dont know about DV. It sounds like a very sweet ride yet I wonder if I will ever get to ride it.

Face it, Vekoma makes junk. Why else do you think they are going through bankruptcy right now? Although I've never been on any of the Deja Vu's, I have been stuck on Two-Face at SFA.

Just because a company goes bankrupt, doesnt mean thier junk. Arrow is awsome and they went bankrupt.

SF got a big discount by buying 4 of the GIBs. I believe they were 9 million each after their discount. That would definitely go a long way towards an Intamin megacoaster or B&M flyer.

Operational DV, then Eagle backwards, were the centerpieces of SFGAm's advertising campaign for 2002.

Raise the spikes, screw Markey. Bring on 5 G's.

The Summer park guide in AT made no mention of DejaVu being still new, but it did mention the blue side of Eagle operating backwards. But, I'm sure the park marketed DV as still "new" just like X was this season.

And yes, the 4th GIB is in WBMW, Madrid. It has finished construction and the trains recently arrived. But NO design changes were made to this version. So, expect to see this one valley like the others. Way back when SF signed this contract with Vekoma, they also worked out a deal that if they bought more of these GIBs in the future they could get them for 8 million a piece.. Well, you can forget that ever happening

Chitown--

The actual name of the GIB in WBMW Madrid is now Stunt Fall. For whatever reason, they have changed it.

Hmmmm, Legendary, could it be they don't want their coaster to be associated with the recurring operational nightmares on this side of the pond....;)
