Deja Vu at SFGAm

For those people that went to the B96 private party at sfgam and went on DeJa Vu, was it fun? Was it rough? Is it worth the time? Was there any headbanging?

May 4th, Oh Yea!
Welcome to Batman Knight Flight, America's longest floorless coaster.

Yes, do tell, as I will be taking a trip or three up there this summer. :-) :-)

X Looks Awesome! Oh Yea!!

Went on it last fall. It's definitely fun -- the beginning of the ride really kicks. A little bumpy at the bottom of the drop, but pretty smooth otherwise. I would classify it as a "must-ride" at SFGAm.

Is there any head banging???

Not at all, It is smoother than Batman

Smoother than Batman but not the bull

It seems to me that Bull is actually getting a bit bumpier as it becomes more of a veteran, especially in the valleys. Deja is definitely smoother than Batman, maybe not quite as smooth as Bull, but close, and no headbanging.

I agree with you bull fan. It is getting rougher than what it first was.

deja vu is pretty nice but i had to wait 3 hours for it in october

Wow. Did not know Raging Bull is getting rougher... It seemed to be pretty smooth to me last fall. Glad to know that our Deja Vu seems to be riding well... :-D

I also did not realize Raging Bull being any rougher when I went on the 20th, it still felt smooth as glass like it always has. But Deja Vu is pretty smooth with no headbanging and is an awesome ride.

Even if every answer was ripping on Deja-Vu, wouldnt you want to find out for yourself if its good or not?

Someones opinion on something holds little water for me. I like to test the waters myself.

Im going to grab a cold one! WHAT? Walk to my computer! WHAT? Turn the thing on! WHAT? Log on to Coasterbuzz! WHAT? I said log on to Coasterbuzz!! WHAT?WHAT?WHAT?

Why is SFMM'S Deja-vu almost twenty feet taller than the one at SFGA?
it isnt it was built higher they all have the same drop the same speed the same height of the elements.

Raging Bull could be 4x rougher than it is now, and it'd still be the smoothest.

The DV's (SFMM's and SFGAm's, anyways) are identical. I've counted each 'box' in the support structures from pics at various places. They have the same number of lower, widening as you go lower, ones, and same width ones above.

Less than 2 weeks until SFGAm opens!

wow good one. that is a good idea about counting the boxes in the pics.

Bull's Blue train seems to be the roughest. Red and Yellow are still pretty smooth. I haven't seen Deja Vu run yet, but that boomerang looks to be pretty sharp... Cool that there isn't much headbanging... I'm excited to get to ride it this summer...
