Deja vu and Vertical Velocity at SFGA

How is the progress of Deja Vu and Vertical Velocity going at SFGAm? Does anyone have pics of the construction?

From what others have said and by the positioning of the ride the second spike(straight one) will not be over water. The twisty spike will.

That would probably be the better one to have over water, since you'll be facing in that direction. It'd be nifty to see little "jet trails" in the water as the train flies by!

The Geauga Lake version runs over the go-kart track, which is remarkably uninteresting.

From what I heard, both verticals will be over water...

SFMW's version will hang over the part of the park's entrance, a couple of pay booths from what I understand. But hanging over the water should add a nice touch!

When are the coasters supposed to be open? Opening day!?!?! :) I'd be more than happy to delay my CP trip. I may decide on SFWoA instead if everything is up then. We'll see.
