Deepest Coaster?

Adding to more off-season coaster fodder, does anyone know what coaster goes the deepest underground?

Maybe Oblivion?

My guess would be Oblivion, but I'm not sure how deep...

I always found Raven to be a rather profound experience. Oh wait...you meant the other kind of deep. I'd guess Oblivion, too.

US wise The Beast's first tunnel is pretty deep not sure if it's the deepest though. Tennesee Tornado, Dragon Mountain and Rattler all go though solid rock.

Oblivion is likely the deepest in the world

Would you count Rattler's (SFFT) tunnel by depth from top of cliff or from depth from edge of cliff. Either way I think it won.

oblivion is approx 115ft underground so i would say that

I would say M:TR (but I might get banned), so I will agree with said Oblivion. Match!

Intamin Fan says we have to behave. Let's bring this discussion back to coasters. Do you people think I have all day to dick around?

LOL Rob & Dawn.

Rattler does have a tunnel thru the quarry walls but I don't think there is more than 118' above it, and even tho Tenessee Tornado drops 128 feet thru a tunnel its never buried more than a few feet underground, so I think Oblivion might be our winner here.

The funny thing is, Oblivion doesn't seem that deep -- you plunge into and out of the tunnel so fast you don't really get a feeling for anything other than "ohmygodI'mheadedstraightfortheground" (and that's if you're a fast thinker)

Oblivion drops just about 115ft into the ground.

What about Gravity Max

Gravity Max's tunnel is nowhere near 118' underground. The lift is 114 feet high, I suspect the drop is around 130 feet or so.

Just a thought Moosh, I wasn't sure of the specs on the tunnel ... oh well
