Decorating with Rollercoasters

My b/f and I were in a Sherman Williams store the other night scoping through their border & wallpaper books when I came across a book that I absolutely FREAKED over. The name of it was "Amusement Parks" and inside it was FULL of borders and matching wallpapers that were coasters/park themed. My b/f saw my excitement, then saw the book and his exact words were "oh crap." He reminded me SEVERAL times that we were done with all the redecorating of the house. So no coaster border or wallpaper for me! :( I guess I will just have to be content with the CP "shrine" I have on 3 of the 4 walls in the family room (for now anyway!! :))
But I did want to get the word out if anyone interested there is definitely coaster border/wallpaper out there. I know for sure Sherman Williams can order it, and am pretty confident one of the larger home decor chains could as well.

Jo, that's awesome! Any particularly good ones? I might just run down to Sherwin Williams this weekend! BTW, You've got my vote for VP. :)

Hmmmmmm, and I was thinking about buying a "fixer upper" type house anyway... :)

That IS pretty neat. Thanks for spotting that!

That would be so cool. But, since my husband doesn't want me hanging any of the fantasy artwork I do, I doubt he'd be pleased with roller coaster wallpaper/borders.

Someday when I get my own studio, I just may put up a coaster border!

Can you tell us what company makes it? Sherwin Williams is probably just a retailer/reseller. If you could tell us the company that acutally manufactures the stuff, then you can probably buy it from any on-line seller of wallpaper.

I'm wondering just how many of us are doing this coaster decorating and building of shrines. I too have begun to collect things to decorate with. (old CP pennants to be exact) I'm really interested in this roller coaster/theme park wallpaper/border now. I'm looking into getting some really good pictures of coasters and having them blown up and hang them around the walls too. Turn my whole living room into like this little amusement park itself. :)

KoasterKeith-my apologies because I do not recall the name of the company. If I get a chance to stop back in to Sherman Williams I will be sure to look for you and email you the company name! I found out from one of my GTTP buds he found coaster border and wallpaper at Home Depot too. I had assumed they would have had it, as Loews probably does too.
Joey-you would LOVE my family room then for I am totally surrounded by CP stuff, the one whole side of the family room is "mine" so didn't apare any space :)
CPLady-I just hang stuff and listen to the whining about it for days, eventually they give up! :)
Sheik al Squeak-I can use all the votes I can get! Wouldn't it be too cool if I won? Thanks!!! :)
