Debby pounding the Orlando area.

They probably didn't, but did Disney, Universal, or Sea World along with Busch Gardens and Legoland close early due to the strong storms coming through? They were getting nailed all yesterday and possibly today.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

It rained all night here in Daytona, and as of 7:00 AM it's still raining. Predictions show it to be a SLOW moving storm, this could prove to be a WET Week!

(Three weeks ago everybody was complaining how DRY it was!)

Good they're getting some rain.

The relevant thing here, however is...

Best forum title EVER.

I was thinking "Debby does Orlando" might have been just a touch better. :)

Debby Does Disney?

I've got a bucket collecting rainwater in the house, and the insurance company on the phone - most rain at one time since the brutal hurricane sesaon about a decade ago.

Rollergator, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope everything gets straightened out soon and that it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. :(

Didn't realize. It does have a porn ring to it. :)

Sluttiest storm ever.

If I were a weatherman in Dallas, I'd be praying for this storm to head my way.

It didn't even have to hit near Dallas for this local weatherman to pounce:

Looks like "Debbie does Florida" will last longer than "Go Away Faye" did in 2008.

The Disney and Universal parks have not been shutting down early. However Sea World and Busch Gardens did (haven't heard about LEGOLand) the last two days. It is slowly starting to clear up around Florida, but we're still expecting about 5"+ of rain the next few days. By the weekend we should be back to the normal Florida weather of a quick storm/shower during the afternoon instead of this ridiculous constant drenching.

May rollergator's roof be covered by insurance and cause no damage to the family's property and possessions. Stay dry, everyone!

Thanks bunky666!

Got up in the attic to look around, mostly the damage is due to an improperly-installed skylight. Small enough so I may try to fix it myself. The contractor who did the work is out of business - they were the only ones willing to do repairs from the '04 hurricane season (when Frances sent a tree thru the roof), so quality work wasn't really in the cards.

Still, it was enough to put the nail in the coffin on my planned "Coastin' by the Ocean" trip. All NY/NJ/PA folks attending the event, have a great time!

Bummer!!! Wish there was a dislike button here or something like it.

Debby gets you wet.

The latest report I read is that Debby has left, doing the "walk of shame" the next morning. I could use a cigarette and a nap. Sorry, I'm not in the mood to cuddle. I think there's money for a taxi on the dresser.

We just got back from a week at Universal and Sea World. Debbie was a miserable bitch, for sure. Aquatica's hours on Monday? 9AM to Noon.

Brian, ugh! What exactly is the point of even opening at that point?
