After failing to override a veto by County Executive Rob Astorino, Democrats on the Westchester County Board of Legislators have reached a compromise that would eliminate entrance fees at Playland for county residents. But Republicans don't like it, in part, because the season is in full swing and monies will have to be made up somewhere, adding another twist and turn in that wild ride between branches.
