DDR Off-Season

Summertime is pretty much here, temperature's up, and I'm in my own personal DDR off-season. Instead of being inside some arcade getting all sweaty, I'm more content with being outside and getting all sweaty. The weather is far too nice during the summer to pass up. Besides, there's parks to visit and rides to ride!

DDR is a wintertime 'sport' for me. It's fun, but there's other things to do :)

Not for me! Being outside is awesome, and I love summer because I have more options apart from DDR (I plan to golf more this summer, for one). But playing video games is a year-round endeavor for me. :)

The best thing about summertime DDR is that you can wear shorts and a T-shirt to the arcade, and no one looks at you like you're a freak (unlike when you do that in January...).

My DDR season never ends, well never has. I've only started in October of last year when Max2 came out. The experience in the parks and outside is way better than your own bedroom. I hope to continue in the summer.

I have to agree with Den, shorts are so much better than pants, and in Michigan, shorts in January is asking for a good laugh.

I guess your off-season has to do with how dedicated you are to the game, I don't know how I could go 5-6 months without DDR. :(

My PA goes up when I wear shorts. :)

That is all. Oh, and I'll probably still play DDR during the summer, though not as much.

Nope, no offseason for me...infact, Summer is when i practice more, and get better for when the school year starts up again. (DDR is on campus, so every quarter we have a few new DDRers show up) Plus i need to practice...my great count on some 9ers that i've AAed before have almost doubled since i've been focused on AAAing 7-8fters. >___<

yeah i still step on those stupid arrows... ...so what? >_>
