Gimme speed, height, airtime and plenty of LAUNCH!!!

I've always wanted to try out DDR, but never had the guts to play it in public. The XBox version should solve that problem nicely. :)

It looks like darn good exercise to boot. It's on my Christmas list.

We've known about this for a very long time. I hope they have the whole pad thing figured out by then, and not thin pads.

It's awesome exercise, especially if you are like me and don't go out of your way to get exercise. :-)

Interesting pad. My only real hope is that one of the Chinese or Taiwaneese manufacturers that make the current ones sold by a few companies do the same for X-Box. I'm talking about the ones with the half-inch lighter foam. I don't care for the 1" foam pads, because you use too much energy pushing off of it.

Sod it, i'll just go and buy one of the arcade machines.

At least those pads won't slip all over the place like my playstation one does.

anyone wanna lend me a few grand?

I have to Red Octane pads. I got mine for 39.99 instead of 49.99. There really good and they indeed inproved my scores like 100%. Seriously I now can do heavy and I wasn't able to do it before. IT's AMAZING. : )
Its Gone GOLD! Look for Oct. 15

I hope they get the pad thing straightened out before it's released. Since they make USB adapters for PS2 pads, I would think it'd be trivial to do the same for X-Box, which under the funny connectors uses USB for the controllers.

EBGames still has a 12/2 ship date shown on their website, so I think we may still be waiting a while. I didn't see any "package" deals like DDRMAX 2 for PS2 had (a game/controller bundle), but there are a handful of third-party pads coming out for XBox.

ray p. (whose original PSOne DDR Konami pad still works fine!)

Go to any carpeting store (or decent home store) and get a non-skid carpet mat. They're usually used for throw rugs and the like. Works perfectly for me.
