DDR for sale only in Japan?

At the local mall and a cinema in my area the DDR says "For sale and use only in Japan." Is this normal, or is my town illegal?

Well, Konami of Japan makes every arcade DDR exctept for DDR USA. Every DDR machine says that in its idle screen. So none of them are supposted to be here in the US but pretty much every DDR machine outside of Japan are bootlegs anyways.

Yeah those are official machines. They have a lil extra stuff added and what not. Not that much different from our machines, but it's still coo to say you've played an official DDR Extreme.
