DDR for PSone - CoasterBuzz

Hey. I just bought DDR for PSone and I noticed there isn't a wide variety of songs to choose from. I'm pretty much stuck at three feet in beginner mode. Anything higher makes my brain sweat.

Does anyone know if there are songs and dances I can unlock? I'm sure unlocking them will require me to beat harder dances, that is if there are any to unlock!

Can anyone help me out? The instructions in the CD case don't help too well. It's regular DDR for my PSone. I have two dance pads, if that helps any.

Basically I just want to know if there are more songs available to dance to. I want songs that aren't too hard. :)

I'm not a big fan of the original DDR for PS. There aren't many songs, and in those days, someone's idea of difficult meant jump until you passout. Not good at all.

You should try to pickup DDR Konamix, which is still widely available in most places that PS1 games are sold.

yeah, I agree with Jeff, DDR Konamix is better, I exchanged my DDR USA for DDR Konamix and I couldn't be happier. I love playing songs like Paranoia rebirth and End of the Century (both on easy as I'm only ok at the game), but if you have a place nearbye that has exchanging, it's the best trade i've made so far (unless u want to just buy Konamix, i am on a limited budget because i'm only 15).

I was surprised when I went to GameStop the other day and saw that the original PSone DDR is one of its "Most Wanted" trade-ins. So perhaps a sale on eBay would be appropriate if you want to get rid of it.

I don't have it, never played it, but I wish I did for one reason: Afronova.

Den, I just read at DDRFreak that Afronova has been confirmed as an unlock for MAX2. Looks like you'll get to play it after all :)

Whoohoo! Can't wait to see which stores are right about the actual release date... today or tomorrow?
