DCA's Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror !

www.westcoaster.net claims an announcement to be made soon for the Southern California Disneyland Resort's second themed amusement park.
Wonder if it'll be better than the original....Don't they already have a drop ride?

I've got laser eyes, and I know what you're thinking. It comes to no surprise, the Christmas lights are blinking.
No they have a space shot called Maliboomer.

Although it is just a rumor, this one is will have a taller drop inside, more floors with themeing, and even a real hotel in the rest of it. I think putting a hotel in it is a pretty neat concet IMO.

All of that is a rumor.
I really don't think it will have a hotel, and have been hearing that for quite a while.
I also am not sure about having a taller drop.
If anything, I heard it would be toned down from the origonal..
But no one knows for sure until they announce it, so it isn't worth specualting upon right now.

Knotts Halloween Haunt!!
29 years and still screaming.

I heard they are supposed to build 3 new Tower of Terror clones built in the near future. One at DCA. One at Disney Studios Paris and the other at Tokyo Disney Sea. I ll try and find the site again.
I heard it from Coaster Force.
who would want to stay in that hotel with ride noises, special effect noises, and people screaming into all hours of the night.  Doesn't Disneyland stay open 24 hours a day sometimes?  can you say, no sleep?

24 hours?  When?  Maybe Grad Night. . . but still!!  I'm sure they would take those concerns into consideration.  Maybe Tower of Terror will get Scream/Vomit Shields too!  ;)
Does anyone think theyll rename the Tower of Terror becuase of what has happened to the twin towers?
Even though the Twin Towers is a huge tragedy...we can't just stop naming things that have the word "tower" in it.  We have to move on at some point and Disney (and Universal for that matter) has already taken their part in adjusting rides so they will be more appropriate now.

I wish that there was a theme park that was open 24 hours a day!  Hell, even Disneyland!  I could handle riding Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain RR, and Matterhorn Bobsleds about 5 times each in a 24 hour period!  Although those arn't the greatest rides in the world, they are all still pretty sweet though.  Throw in a few trips on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Splash Mountain, and Star Tours, that would be a VERY successful day where a lot was accomplished!  Anyway, if there is a time when the 24 hour thing goes on please let me know, although I know nothing about it at the current date.

I hope the new Tower of Terror is at least a few stories higher than the old one.......

I know that WDW stays open 24 hours at very busy times so people who come from other countries don't have to adjust right away to the time change.  I assumed that Disneyland would do the same thing at times like Winter break, and through the summer

Well DL almost constantly has special deals were people who pay alot can stay all night. DL is already open 8-12 in the summer. Belive me there will be no noise from the ride. This is Disney, not Six Flags. The ride will be the same was the WDW version. It was going to be scaled down but Disney is going to put the ride in the new Paris park and found it would be chaper to manufactor the same ride twice then make one chaper. I can't wait! 2003 looks like the opening then we can focus on Rock N Roller coaster!

SFMM line cutters are the braviest in the world.
I think that would be great. (both, to stay all night, and a tower of terror.) i love disneyland. certain parks could take pointers from disny, especialy in guests services.

As Ralph wiggam once said, "everybodys hugging"
A tower of terror hotel would rule!

I would think that DCA would be much better because of TOT. I think that the park is OK now, but could be a lot better. This would be a pretty big step.
I really want a Rock N Roller Coaster, but with Screamin already there, I'm not sure how that would be.
Maybe if we added a twist to the rock n roller coaster and made it a vekoma slc.
Maybe not...
But a sit down, launched coaster might be a little too close for a park with only 2 (would be 3) coasters.

The Tower of Terror real Hotel would be great...c'mon it's Disney, they can do anything from keeping their guests with no noice...Imagine that you are in the hotel halls and you could see the elevator droping and the people of the hotel dressed with the clothes that the bellhops wear at the TOT...nice...
