DCA on Rosie O'Donnel Show Today

I just saw a commercial for the Rosie O'Donnel Show today, and she will be in California Adventure. I think it's on at 4.

I'd Rather Be Riding Rollercoasters
I live in New York and The Rosie O'Donnel show was already broadcasted. It showed basically all the rides and attractions, ending with Grizzly River Run. The cast of Drew Carey tagged along but Ryan always found a way to get out of going on a ride. Maliboomer was Rosie's favorite and Drew Enjoyed California Screamen. They even got to ride Maliboomer twice without getting off, but thats another topic.
Wow...got to ride twice without getting off? Was that some kind of celebrity perk? Had I been in line and saw that happening, I'd have been PO'ed. Who cares what it's for, nobody deserves special treatment like they're better than the rest of us.

DCA is on my list of parks that I won't go out of my way to visit. O'Donnell has always been on my "bad list," and since she made a big deal out of DCA I'll have to do my best to ignore that park from now on. That's just how it works for me...
I watched it, the funniest thing was Ryan Styles excuses for not going on the rides.

I watched that today too even though I usually don't watch the Rosie O'Donnell Show.
Interesting show! Now I want to go to DCA...
I believe they shut down sections of the park for filming. They have to do that for reasons you just mentioned. So they can get the right shots, and take their time, without idiots who think they deserve better, getting PO'd when they have to reshoot. It's all for the general public, a way to show people in middle America who might not know about the park. Rosie does great things, for children and theatre especially. Why do so many people have issues with her?! It's odd. . .
Rosie said she felt bad about cutting through the line, plus, the show was taped before the public opening on the 9th so it wasn't that bad. Many people were clapping and laughing to watch them on the rides. When they went on Maliboomer, they didn't ask to go twice, the operator just shot them back up a couple extra times. I like Drew and Rosie both so it wouldn't bother me to see them there. Rosie's a great person and she's a lot different since her "bad" days with stand-up comedy. She's the Queen of Nice and I guess she's too nice for some people. So why doesn't *StandUp*Fan like her? ;) I would be more than happy to meet her and spend a day at Disney or any park for that matter with her. Go Rosie! But

I agree that DCA doesn't look special enough at all yet for me to go all the way down there. Superstar Limos looks much better than the extremely poor reviews that everyone gave. It looked like a good concept, but the ending looked very thrown together. The park *looks* really great with the theming.

And Drew's favorite ride was Soarin' Over California -not- the coaster. He didn't even ride it. *** This post was edited by Koaster King on 2/21/2001. ***
