Dating Criteria

There are way to many hilarious and awesome responses for me to really add to this. But you all have me thinking about what I want in a significant other, if and when I decide to go on the prowl for a nice lady again. Some of the points also hit home with why certains relationship(s) may not have worked as well for me as I had hoped for. It also opens my eyes to a lot of things I did wrong that caused my own grief in cases.

I guess you have to be able to be content with yourself and be willing to not smother your significant other if you expect to get that in return.

I dont care if my future significant other likes coasters or not. As long as she trusts me when I go with my friends I will be fine. If she does like them, then maybe there is something we can share together. I am a firm believer in that in a healthy relationship there is a little of yours, mine, and ours. You like what you like. I like what I like. And we share some common interests at least a little bit so we can have something to do together. I think it would be nice to not be attached at the hip. While it may be fun at first, it does get annoying after time.

Lets just say all cylinders are firing....... :)

Opposites attract. Yes, I said it once again.

The woman that I am in love with is on different pages from my likes and beliefs.

I voted for Obama/ She voted for McCain

I like speed bikes/ She likes Harleys

I like Rock and Hip Hop/ She likes Rock and Country.

I like coasters/ She can basically take or leave them.

The list goes on but I am just getting the point across that having opposite likes and beliefs is very healthy in a relationship. If you are 100% in common, I feel the relationship won't work out.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

Opening day won't get here soon enough. We are all starting to go a little stir crazy. It was funny though.

There is no better sound than that of a wooden rollercoaster climbing the first hill

I think it's better if you have different interests. That way you can teach her about coasters, and she will either 1) think you are a genius and become even more attracted to you or 2) find you "out there" and find you even more attractive. ;)

If you think things can't get worse it's probably because you lack sufficient imagination.

Yeah a interest in coasters is pretty insignificant. If im with someone who doesnt like it just as long as they dont get in my way of going to parks i could give a damn less.
