I was let out of work at noon... and whet directly to the park.. I got there about 1pm and went Directly to the ride...
For those of you that have been to the park... the new ride is at the main entrence to the German area.... this is were surprise set in... the line started almost by the hill of Apengiest. Ouch! but as soon as you got in line they told you it was about a 3hr waite, and gave you a coupon for 30% off any food or gifts you may buy the rest of the day. Standing in line for about 10mins they starting handing out FREE water! That was great!
TIME LAPS
Once I entered the castle court yard the landscaping cought my eye and the detail that went into it! That was amazing! The worst part of the courtyard is that it so big and you have to go all the way though the yard... but its isn't a standard zig-zag patteren... there are fountains, and a BIG wolf scalpture to keep you mind off the line!
TIME LAPS
Near the end of the line you get under the cover of the Castle, were you can see ice on the walls and windows. If you get close to the window you can feel COLD air blowing down! It was a great theming touch! About 15-20mins of zig-zag and now your set up in the preshow staging area... and this is were I end the discription! BTW I was shaking most of the ride becasue it was so cold in the ride. This was more great theming!
I want to tell you that I went there expecting a spiderman ride.... Though on par with it, they are owned by two DIFFERENT companies. One is a movie company and the other is a beer company. So save you self some dissapointment and realize that it is not Univerisal. Don't get me wrong I loved the ride... i just want you to know... don't be like me and compare the two! If you haven't ridden either... then try to ride this on first!
But overall a fun ride.. NOTE: Go there first thing in the morrning save your self time! I will have pic next when I return to BGW! *** Edited 5/1/2005 10:42:22 PM UTC by Earnhardt2***
There seemed to be some confusion/debate on the subject and I don't think it'd be a 'spoiler' to let us know for sure.
I do agree with the preshow que up... that it can't be heard! but it still great ride.
The line moves kind of slow but hardly noticable with all the stuff to look at... the preshow aids in the line because each show is timed to empty out the station.. so once you get into the preshow your effectivity there... you have have to wait one or two cars... depending on where you stand in the preshow... HINT: Stand to the left front!
