Dark ride enthusiasts work to preserve historic dark rides

Rick Davis and friend Joel Styer formed DAFE (pronounced "daffy") two years ago to document and rescue darkrides. Although many of the older rides are scary, the group defines the amusement attraction as any enclosed ride in which a vehicle carries passengers past scenery.

I hope the group is successful!!!! Theme parks could really use some good dark rides which usually have little to no height restrictions and usually its good for the entire family!!

I recently showed my support by becoming a member. Now if only the Chippewa Lake Park restoration project can succeed. . .
