Dark Knight entrance at SFGAm.

Someone visited the park during a private outing and got a shot of the Gotham City Railway entrance to the Dark Knight. I have to say it's pretty impressive even though it's not totally finished yet. I can't figure out if the clouds on the glass are actual clouds (mirrored glass), or if that is painted in clouds on the glass.

Gotham City Railroad.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

Looking at the cloud cover in the sky, I'm going to say that the glass is a painted mural.

You are right. After talking to others, it is painted clouds.

I have to say that it is pretty neat. Also the entrance is of a Chicago high rise.

I will let others try to figure it out. :)

^Chitown, its not a Chicago skyscraper, its a Gotham skyscraper. It just so happens that the Batman Begins/Dark Knight Gotham is largely shot in Chicago.

^^I'm guessing you're referring to the resemblance to the entrance of the Sears Tower?

Chitown is correct on what he is saying. While I'm not sure what Chicago Skyscraper it's modeled from, it's not Sears Tower. Of Course they got the idea for this considering Dark Knight was filmed in Chicago. I must also say that from what I've seen they are making the be useage of the former Theater. I take back all the mouse in a box comments from last year. Finally it appears Great America will have the best presentation.

Oh really? Then take a look at this picture and tell me what that is? Looks strikingly familiar, doesn't it?

Yeah, but its not a train station, the building is clearly modeled after a Gotham Subway station ;).

Great America's looks much prettier than Great Adventures.

I hope Great Adventure improves upon the theming to make theirs look as good. At least make the steel building look like an old warehouse or something. I am hoping they reuse that observatory from the Chiller.

I really dig the cloud effect on the windows. Looking good!
