Another great animation Keith! Can't wait for the 3rd person view animation. :)

Brilliant! Now I know what it's like to ride the legendary SROS. Keep up the excellent work mate.
I'm waiting on the New England version. There aren't any POV videos out there right now, so I'm excited that that's on the way. I was psyched about the coaster's five seconds of fame on More Top Ten Coasters last night.
From the way people always spoke so highly of this coaster in comparing to MF, I was expecting this fantastic layout.
No I am making this statement based on an online computer animation but still. There is really nothing special about this coaster. the layout is pretty uneventful and there don't appear to be that many airtime moments.
At least MF has the really steep drop, overbanked turns and it crosses over itself a few times.
Am I missing something?

I have rode MF and S:ROS at Darien Lake, and I do say that I would prefer MF. But S:ROS is damn cool. The airtime on the two hills are great, and the ending bunny hops are filled with GREAT negative g airtime. I really don't prefer the long drawn out helices, but it is still a great ride.

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
jdancisin, the only thing I can say you are missing is actually riding the thing. Raven, S:ROS (DL & SFA), Millie and Cyclops all *look* like nothing special, but it only takes one ride to remove all doubt.

Great work Keith. Love the great simulations. Very well done.

Thanks all... jdancisin, I think the coaster that everyone compares to Millennium Force is S:ROS at Six Flags New England, not the one at Six Flags Darien Lake (the one I animated)... The one at SFNE has quite the perfect layout *in my opinion*, im workin on that one next :)

FANTASTIC as always! And yes the SROS's do more with their momentum that MF. For as tall as MF is it should have done more. CP folks need to visit Indiana Beach!
Now there's proof that space doesn't matter!

All I've got to say is S:ROS may have a simple layout but it's still an amazing ride. The airtime is massive on this ride especially over hill number three which I would call the derailment hill. There's so much speed going into the hill out of the first helix it literally feels like the train is going to fly off the rails!
Badnitrus,
My mistake. I always assumed that all the S:ROS were the same. I checked your site and lo and behold, they aren't. Oops

I love SROS at SFDL. My friend Anna best described it during grad night: "I drooled and cried at the same time, and there was no air in my lungs to scream. It was great!!"
