How about an upgrade to Predator? I've heard that thing is ridiculously bad now.

Painful memories...coming back...must block...
That was a bad one...the only one I can say was as bad that I rode in the last several years was Compounce's Wildcat.

Predator was fantastic during my 2012 visit in September. Rode in both the front, back, and middle, and I was treated to an intense ride with some great pops of air. In terms of roughness, Predator is not perfect, but by no means painful, about middle of the road when comparing wooden coasters.
In other news, its great to see this park expanding by updating their current attractions and infrastructure, and slowly adding new additions to fill in the gaps. I really believe in the Herschend management team.
I went to SFDL a few years' back with AV Matt. Our first lap on Predator was absolutely blissful, in the back row. Way better than my previous laps on the ride. Went off for a couple hours to ride Supes, get some food, waited interminably for the motocoaster to open (never did). Came back to Predator only to find the back of the train roped off...sat in the last row we could, and the ride was absolutely BRUTAL. Extremely bad...worse than on any prior visit.
Wooden coasters are just plain tempermental....
