So are they going to theme them to Harleys now? They gonna have big-headed Teutul characters roaming the parks? ;)

These PARC-7F guys really want my resume, huh? ;)

Seriously, every park they've purchased seems to have grwat things going on in terms of rides and entertainment and food services. I'm beginning to think they're aiming for HFEC status... ;)

That's positively inspired.
Okay, so Darien Lake and Orange County are at kind of diametrically opposite corners of the State of New York...still, it is a kind of a local connection, and that's always kind of neat. :)

I agree with Rollergator. PARC seems to have their acts together and are adding rides that will definately do good things for all of their parks. I admit that when they purchased the motocoaster for DL I immdeiately thought it would just get put on a plot of land and called "motocoaster." Now they are teaming up with the OCC guys and they are going to build a bike on the american chopper show for the park should bring some interest to the coaster and park both. Pretty smart marketing if you ask me.

^^Really? I always thought it referred to Orange County, CA. Maybe I should have paid attention the two times I saw the show.

The tie-in makes a bit more sense now.

^Alot of people think that since the California county is known.

It's all New York.

Not quite sure why Jason dredged up this thread from 2008. But since he did, take a look at something Gator said:

Umm, Gator...

Back in 2008, did you have any idea what would eventually happen at Darien Lake?

I didn't think it was worth starting a new thread just to let everyone know the show was on.

Saw this last night, Dave, and thought "I am NO Nostradamus". LOL! ;)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

Sometimes, when I used to watch the show they would test the bikes outside and you could see snowbanks along the road. But, people mistaking OCC to California is quite common it seems. I argued with someone at work about where it took place a couple of years ago. This guy wouldn't quit untill I printed up the address and showed him.
