Darien Lake - CoasterBuzz

Has anyone been to Darien Lake and ridden their coasters? Could I have a description of them?

The rides at the park range from GREAT to "when does the ride start" sfdl dude will give you a great description of every coaster at the park but SROS is one of the best in the world. Predator is half way decent. Boomerang is just well a boomerang clone. Mind Eraser is like the 20 others around the world a Vekoma SLC. Viper is a classic ride which can be fun at times. If you plan on makin a visit go during the week never on a saturday.

I just signed up, how did you know about me? well, sfdl isn't exactly cedar point but still pretty fun. Superman is awesome! I like the first drop. In the fron seat you get soooo much hang time. addmission is only $12.99 now and Superman is still open.

anyways quick summary: SROS- good airtime,Predator-rough wooden/dont ride if you cant take the pain:), Viper-old arrow creation still one of the best in the park, Mind Eraser- lame SLC, Boomerang-another lame vekoma creation:(

SROS - good first and second drop but after that some dull helices and straight section and then some mild pops of air. I didn't like it.

Predator - actually is pretty good in the front seat. Definitely a top ten coaster if they put some needed work on it. I do remember some nice air in the front as well.

Viper - vintage Arrow and first to go upside down five times. Loop, boomerang, and corkscrew. Finish is a cool underground tunnel. Good ride.

Mind Eraser and Boomerang - Vekoma SLC and Boomer. If you've ridden one of these types of coasters before then you know what to expect.

Overall, I did like Darien Lake. Great selection of flat rides. So much potential here if SF puts more attention to the place.
