Using only PVC pipes, treated lumber and concrete, YouTube user makethesale1 has raised the bar for backyard fun by building a 12-foot-high personal roller-coaster for his family.

I'm curious as to why this particular coaster/video has gotten so much media play. There's dozens of these around the country. As I previously mentioned, this one is very well done. But it's been featured on Yahoo, CNN, and five separate (non-coaster enthusiast) friends have either sent me the link or made me aware of it.
It's got a cute kid in it. Strap some kittens in that car, and it'd probably be at least twice as popular.
