Plans for a yearlong celebration are under way at Cypress Gardens Adventure Park, Florida's oldest theme park. Among the expected activities: a groundbreaking for a major roller coaster, a new laser and fireworks show for next fall, and a new premium annual pass.

It's nice to hear stories about Cypress Gardens' success in light of news about park closings, etc. Then again, with parks like HW building nice wood next year, seems bad news is the exception.
I'm gald to hear someone saved the old woddie down in Panama City. I loved that ride.
I wonder if they have an actual planned opening date for Starliner? I am glad I decided to hold off on my great Georgia/Florida Spring Break Coaster Trip untill 2007, becuase Starliner was a big part of the trip. I am also glad to see it was saved, now if only Texas Cyclone could be next
