Buescher revealed Tuesday plans to add a new roller coaster to Cypress Gardens. Galaxy Spin will join the fleet of coasters this May. The ride is a spinning coaster with a UFO theme. The ride "cars" are now being customed designed.

Sounds like they are having a lot of problems...of the good sort. ;)

Nice to hear.

Great news! The park needs two coasters and this is one of them (any guesses what the other coaster is?) Seems like Zamperla is getting a lot of business from Mr. Buescher!
Hmm, and I'll be there in May too. Hopefully it'll be open :)

I sure hope this will become a great, elite park. (It's only 20 minutes North of my Grandparents house in Florida, right smack where there's nothing to do.) ;) *** Edited 3/17/2005 11:19:47 PM UTC by Fastball84***

Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid.
I'm kind of glad I've waited to hit the park up until later this fall. It looks like things are only going to be getting better as the year goes on.

Zamperla, Rob? Where does it say Zamperla? ;)

I'm hopeful you've got some info to confirm that the *other* is indeed Starliner?

rcdb says its a Zamperla.

A day at the park is what you make it!

Its the standard Reverchon-designed model we all know and love, though I guess Zamperla are marketing them now. Is Reverchon history or are both companies putting out the same design/layout?
