Cypress Gardens hosts huge Easter egg hunt

Cypress Gardens Adventure Park hopes to log another entry in the Guinness Book of World Records as the park hosts the "World's Largest Easter Egg Hunt" on Sunday, April 1st at 3 pm. The official "egg-counting" took place today as Winter Haven mayor, Nathaniel Birdsong, and Chamber of Commerce representative, Donna Sheehan, verified that well over 500,000 eggs will be hidden at the theme park for the egg hunt. The world record currently stands at 301,000.

Not much of an Easter Egg hunt if they're trying to hide the worlds largest Easter eggs.

One Easter Egg holds a prize for a 2 year scholarship to Polk County Community College so I would take this Easter Egg Hunt more seriously IMO. A Scholarship is big news.
