cyclops, the back seat

Now, if you have heard of the infamous last seat on Big Chief's Cyclops you know the air time is so long that you get lightheaded. Cyclops is more of wilder ride with two very explosive drops. But in the back seat with the second big drop you have to be older than 14 years old to ride in it because of the explosive air time that lifts you through the lap bar. Cyclops is my second favorite wooden coaster, and my third favorite coaster overall. So, if you ever go to Six Flags Great America or Vallyfair! Get to Big Chief and ride in the backseat of Cyclops. It propaly is one of the best air time coasters in the world.

I heard that you had to be 18 to sit in the back...
Something is wrong if you get light headed by airtime. Being lightheaded has to do with not enough blood going to your brain, and is a sign that you might black out. You could red out though. I doubt that even Cyclops is strong enough to do that to anyone.

The park's rule is you must be 18 to ride back car (last 2 rows) of Cyclops, but they had no problem with me riding in the back seat.

my correction, i did mean red out, but I was
exzadrading(s.p.?) a bit. And I'm 15.5 and they told me I had to be 14 or older, because I heard of the 18 ruled and asked, so i was allowed to ride the back seat.
the rule about being 18 is not an actual rule, it's just an extremely clever way to make the back seat seem scarier. They really only check the height requirements. They might ask, "Are you sure you can handle it?" to scare you a bit more but it works for me. When I went on Cyclops the other year, on the car ride there I convinced my girlfriend that it was an actual rule becuase of the physical damage you sustain from the back seat, and she refused to ride the back seat once she saw the sign until the ride op and I convinced her it was just there to scare people. It really works!
