cyclops question

The station appeared to have been built for a 6-car train but even pictures from opening year showed only a 5-car train. I wonder if it was a mistake. I don't ever recall a 6-car train on the ride.
It's actually kind of scary, but fun as well. That drop is really amazing, and I thought the rest of the ride was as well. Also, 2 rides for the price of 1! Yay!

Big Chief's has some great coasters, and fairly good go-carts.

BTW, what ever happened to the "water-coaster" project?

the water coaster is now called Dive To Atlantis and it should open this summer.

No, pictures from 1995 should show a six car train. I know because I have one somewhere. I've also seen the sixth car sitting in the maintenance area.

I haven't ridden Cyclops, but I don't see how it's possible that it's more violent than the air on Screechin' Eagle in the back seat after the turnaround.

I'd like to hear from someone who's ridden both. RideMan?

It most defenitely is. Cyclops' back seat ejector air is really really really... scary. It slams you into the bar. Not a little "drop a book on the floor" slam, a real "bowling ball off the Eiffel Tower" slam. You grab the bar and don't let go. It is scary as hell.

Hey! That's MY hamburger!

What was the airtime like in the 6th car in 1995?
Think "large buildings falling from Sears Tower" slam! Ya ha, it was good, though. Out of your seat the entire way down.

Hey! That's MY hamburger!

Doesn't that happen now in the fifth car? I could swear it was one of the most extreme airtime I've experienced if not the most extreme!

It is a FACT that The Voyage is the greatest thing on the planet!!
It's always been in the fifth car, though on a lesser level than the sixth.

Hey! That's MY hamburger!
