Custom Scenery Topic - CoasterBuzz

Ever since RCT Station closed, I have looked all over the web for RCT2 scenery, and I have definently found some very cool sites and scenery! This topic can also help people who are looking for scenery for there parks!

http://www.amazingearl.com/rct2/ This site has some amazing "ride" scenery. It is animated scenery that looks like real life rides. Very VERY cool!

http://www.interactivitiesink.com/rct2/ LOTS of scenery here. I downloaded just about everything here, b/c i havn't ever seen half of the scenery anywhere else. Pretty unique

http://members.shaw.ca/m.murchison/ ToonTowner's (from RCT Station) site. If you want to spice up your buildings, go here for probably anything you would ever need. Rooves, walls, arches, lots of other things. I love it!

http://scenariogaia.cjb.net/ Lots of random stuff. I like the letters and the construction set. I am sure you will find lots of stuff you will like here.

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/steveu01/index.htm This site has some very unique and cool scenery. From superheros, to legos, glass tunnels and the water features. If you are ever gonna make an extensive waterfall in your park, you definently need to check out the water features at this site.

http://www.strategyplanet.com/rctuk/tid/ Go here if you want to make your own scenery for RCT2. It contains a tutorial on how to use to object editor, and lots of other stuff.

Good work! Amazingearl's stuff is ..... amazing. I've always wanted a swing ride. This is the next best thing to the real thing.

Yeah, thanks! Those 1st 2 sites have some nice stuff.

How do you import? I got in some by downloading games, but only the Hero, Shop, Matrix, and Support themes show up in the scenario creator.

Has anyone else seen anymore cool sites with scenery??

Reon- To impot scenry 1.Download scenery 2.unzip scenery 3.Take the scenery from the unzipped folder, and transfer it to the program files, infogrames interactive, RCT2, object data folder. 4. While in the scenario editor, hit the advanced button. Some more buttons will appear and I think it is the second button from the left. You can pick wich scenery you want to play with in the game!

Before I tried my track loading procedure, but when I dragged them into the RCT2 icon, it said the missing data thing on the opening screen.

Okay, I got what you said down and I'm making a series of workbenches eith all the custom scenary (theres too much to fit in one park.) Anyway, I tested the first one and an error message appeared as soon as the game started. Can anyone help?

Has anyone got a park with the swing ride scenery in it?

I already downloaded the swing ride scenery a few days ago from the site,but as usual can't get it loaded into the object data folder.

I'd much rather get it by using the same process that I did when obtaining the superhero scenery & that was to just download a complete park with the scenery already included,so if anyone here has a park with the swing ride scenery just post it to coasterbuzz games & I'll get it from there.

Just found something else. Someone who has Wacky Worlds, made a lot (if not all) of the wacky worlds walls into RCT2 walls!!

Thanks, this post is very helpful. Makes you wonder, if somone can create graphics to look like a swing ride, why the programmer's of the game cannot create a functional one..

I can create animated scenery(if I tried, and had the time, I could do something as sophisticated as these fake rides) myself, because they don't have to have as many boundries as real rides do, in that you have to animate it, make it interactive with peeps, music, give it boundries, etc. Trust me, Just cause it looks great dosen't mean it's as hard to create as a real ride in the game. But maybe Infogrames/Atari will see this and make a few decent flats and atlest a coaster or 2 in the next expansion.

I have seen that someone by the screen name of Buggy on RCT2.com has cracked the dat files for shops and stalls and has a working McDonalds Fries stand that works in the game. Supposedly he is working on a Dip N Dots stand next. Anyways, this is some stuff to check out. It is really pretty cool. It is on the forums over at RCT2.com

THE WHIRLER has now been released on AmazingEarls' site. Just follow the first link in my first post to find it. For those of you who dont know what the Whirler is, it is a Til-o-Whirl! Very cool

Man, this guy is just pumping these things out. Not that i am complaining, these rides are beyond awesome!

Wow wow wow someone has got to put a park in the games section with these rides. I cant get it to work the other way I'm too computer dumb So someone please upload a park and let us know in the description what rides/scenery ae in it
