CSI - Thursday May 6th

For those of you that have Tivo, you might want to set it to record CSI on May 8th. Found this when i was searching my girlfriend's Tivo...

Several parks, including Knott's Berry Farm I believe, politely said "no thanks" to the show's producers when approached to be the location for this shoot.

I don't think it is really that big of a deal for the amusement park industry. There are bigger problems in the world. Of course, Jaws kept people away from the beaches for many, many years. :-)

Considering the "C" in CSI stands for CRIME I have a feeling the accident will be discovered to be foul play, thus making the "coasters are unsafe" argument moot.

FYI, this episode was filmed at Pharoah's Kingdom.

This episode will have the highest body count ever on CSI.

The episode title is "A Screw Turned Loose"

I seem to remember reading (perhaps in the thread around here from about a month ago discussing this episode) that one of the twists is that they end up with more bodies than people on the coaster. So perhaps the coaster crash is not the crime, but rather the means for discovering a crime?

Just a theory, a title like "A Screw Turned Loose" sure does seem to insinuate foul play on the coaster.

EDIT - just did a quick search and found an article with this:

"It's about somebody who ends up flying off a roller coaster and getting killed because someone turns a screw loose,' said Middlebrooks of the episode's premise.

Maybe my memory is finally failing me...
